Terms & Conditions

The terms your consultation, treatment and free touch-up are provided under.

About these terms

These terms apply to treatments and consultations provided by Cumbria Scalp Clinic Ltd, Unit 6, Kerry Park Industrial Estate, Workington, CA14 3TT, registered in England & Wales under company number 17332157. By booking a consultation or treatment you accept them.

Consultations

Consultations are free and carry no obligation to book. At the consultation we assess your scalp, match a shade, discuss hairline design, set out how many sessions are realistic and give you a firm price. If a treatment is not right for you, we will say so rather than take the work.

Pricing

Scalp micropigmentation is £1,200 for the full treatment. Density boost work is from £200 per session. Tattoo removal starts at £30 for a 1" × 1" area, plus £10 per additional inch. Vitamin injection pricing is confirmed at consultation. Prices for scar camouflage and correction of previous work are quoted individually because the work involved varies.

The price agreed at your consultation is the price you pay for the treatment plan discussed. If the plan changes at your request, any change in price is confirmed with you before further work is carried out.

Booking and deposits

A deposit is required to secure a treatment date and is deducted from the total cost of your treatment. Deposits are not taken at consultation stage.

If you need to move an appointment, please give as much notice as you reasonably can so the slot can be offered to someone else. Repeatedly missed appointments without notice may mean a deposit is not carried over.

The free touch-up guarantee

Every scalp micropigmentation treatment includes one free touch-up within 8 weeks of your final session, to refine density or settle any areas that have healed lighter than intended. The touch-up must be arranged and carried out inside that 8-week window. Work requested after that window, or work required because aftercare was not followed, is chargeable at the normal rate.

Suitability, medical history and consent

You must give an accurate account of your medical history, medication and any skin conditions before treatment. Some conditions mean treatment has to be delayed, adjusted or declined. Written consent is taken before any treatment begins.

Tattoo removal results vary with ink type, colour, depth, age of the tattoo and how your body clears the pigment. We do not promise a fixed number of sessions or complete removal of every tattoo, and progress is reviewed at each visit.

Scalp micropigmentation is a cosmetic treatment that creates the appearance of density. It does not regrow hair and does not stop ongoing hair loss.

Aftercare

You will be given aftercare instructions and following them affects your result. Sweating, swimming, sun exposure, scrubbing and picking during the healing window can all cause pigment to be lost. Where a poor result follows aftercare not being followed, corrective work is chargeable.

Photographs

Photographs may be taken for your own treatment record. They are only published on this website or social media where you have given separate written consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Liability

The clinic is licensed by the local authority and fully insured, and the Pico laser is operated by a fully qualified practitioner. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided.

Website content

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. If anything here is unclear, ask before you book; we would rather explain it than have you assume.
